Candied lemon peels and peat
- Ardmore NAS Traditinal cask, 46%, OB 2007, 1l - Speyside - 82/100
Pleasant nose with light peat and fruit. Also peat in the taste. Towards the end a bit dry and bitter, but never gets unpleasant. Medium, slightly dry and fruity aftertaste. Tasty whisky. http://onversneden.com/2009/06/05/drie-ardmores/
- A very nice standard bottling. The nose is quite dry with modest peat. Creamy, peaty and fruity in the mouth, with vanilla from the oak coming through. A nice finish of medium length. All in all a good whisky to drink with friends who are not necessarily whisky fanatics.
Peat, sweet, oak and vanilla, a hint of smoke. Bitter chocolate?
Light to medium body
Peated and malty short to medium
- Wonderfull full bodied flavour with herbs and highland peatsmoke.
