Whisky Reviews for As We Get It NAS IM

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 83.81 points

  1. keizerjos scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

This is a heavily peppered, substantial incoming (well, almost 62%) but also easily accessible malt with molasses (read: concentrated sugar syrup) - always with high ABV - tasty whisky. The sharp edge that I taste seems to be a recurring theme in young bottled malts.

Obviously this is a very young whisky. Caol Ila maybe?
Nice, but not a big bang.
    • Nose
Sweet peat, smoke, barley and herbals. Alcohol is a bit much.
    • Taste
Strong, spicy start. Pepper. Alcohol here is in the background now. Finally an oily, sweet peaty flavor remain.
    • Finish
Long, oak, spices and drying peat.
