Whisky Reviews for Aberlour 2007 SMWS 54.43

- Very tasty part
Sweet banana, malty, vanilla pod, orange juice, white chocolate, milk powder, creme brulee, lemon pouring
Very sweet, creamy but peppery, also here green banana, oak
Sweet yellow fruits dominate, oak comes with force behind, only very subtle and thus very consistent bitterness
- A nice example of a whisky that gets better the longer you let it "stand". I left him covered in whisky glass for 24 hours ... then he is a real dream!
Very sweet and fruity in all - beguiling floral nose. Powerful and spicy in the mouth. Medium-length, slightly salty finish with lots of vanilla and coconut. Great malt.
- SMWS Tasting Notes
Colour: The sun’s rays on peaches and cream
Flavour Profile: Young & spritely
It’s time for a roll around in the long green grass beside
the gorse bushes with the floral scents of the freshly washed picnic blankets
and freesia flowers heavy in the air. Feeling the tingle of lemon sherbert and
popping candy perhaps we should get fresh with peppermint, lemon tart, candied
lime peel and strawberries with mint and white wine vinegar. Too hot for you,
lets cool off with some water to reveal a soft side as cooked apples and pears
come to the fore, nectarines with cream and dark chocolate adding an indulgent
whisper to finish.
Drinking Tip: Whilst getting intimate in a remote summer
