sweet and dry like a martini, with just the slightest hints of the deep chocolate of a good sherry whisky, but not quite, it's fleeting. It wasn't really doing it for me so I added water quickly (too quickly, I really should've given it a fairer shake at full strength). There's a hint of something on the nose that doesn't quite agree with me (kind of a dull thud... or the olfactor equivalent of a dull thud?) and it's amplified a bit with water. That said, I do like this better with a small dash of water, gives it more honey and lemon.
The taste was subdued at first but after the dash of water it's much better. The fruity sweetness is so much more apparent now. More honey as well.
