Pure: Strong alcohol; dark fruits (plum, fig, dried apricot), fresh oak, wood juice, very light smoky note; roasted hazelnuts; tends to a rather cool, green nose. The alcohol dominates the aromas.
With water: getting darker, the fruits now dominate more, more sweetness, becoming more floral, spices like clove or star anise become recognizable. Wine notes and orange peel
Pure: wood, dark fruits, the alcohol tingles.
With water: It opens up; sweet, mild dark fruits, chocolate. The whisky gets a pleasant, creamy texture.
Not excessively long, very alcohol dominated at the beginning, even with water the aromas are limited to the cask notes, only a little fruit is perceptible. Clear sweetness and light tobacco notes at the end.
