Glenugie is always a Delight. This one doesn't dissapoint either. What a sad loss that this distillery has been demolished! Sample from the bottle of Dornoch Castle

Starts with gentle fruitiness of lychee, pineapple and mango. Some beeswax and honey-clover. Marshmellow sweetness at the background. Complex and beautiful.

Yellow apples intermingled with cake mix and custard-powder. Orange marmelade. Pink grapefruit as well. Later on notes of anise and fresh cedar wood. Roasted nuts. This is delicious.

Quite long. Cinnamon and a little ginger. Becomes a tad bitter at the end.
