Mainly musty, earthy, and damp. Toffee, dunnage warehouse, oxidising grapes, sulphur, and meat stock. The oak leaves soft spices and vanilla. The fruit is mainly on dried variants: sultanas and dates. Later, also Dutch appelstroop (apple treacle) and plain PX sherry.
Velvety, jammy and rounded. It ends with a slight bitter note. It's a good combination of fruit and sherried, meaty notes. Think of sultanas and Dutch appelstroop, combined with beef stock and struck matches. Does it work? Yes, it does! Further, fresh orange, honeyed malt, and cocoa.
Medium length, a tad dry on nutmeg and pepper, but further fruity and earthy. Tobacco, licorice, sultanas, prunes, acetone, and some vague grass notes.
