This is really fantastic matured stuff. Everything fits! My brief notes might not suggest that, but it's all on point: My congratulations on this bottling to everyone involved.

Very briefly it is clearly alcoholic. But that soon wears off. Then come oatmeal and raisins. It gets nutty. Later herbs and leather notes appear.
    • Taste

Rum, grape, nut and coconut give way to vanilla and old books. Then pepper and herbs are added.

Still lots of rum notes, but also herbs and peppermint again. Fruits and dried fruits. the age is more present now. The oak spice becomes more.

A piece of holiday from the glass. Could only smell it. Very cool. The good piece starts with a discreet adhesive note. Ripe lemon is on the way. Some leather and a good portion of caramel. Very dense body. Candle wax and sweet honey. Has something of dry wood and herbs. Everything but very thick connected. I'll just stop ... Cold mint tea, chamomile and apricot jelly comes after. Will now also moldy. Old book and a little more sour. Like cucumber water. A hammer part. And the nose gives more. But I really want to try it now ...
    • Taste
Thick, soft start. The sweet honey, the caramel, vanilla. Everything immediately. Subtle oak spice. Cooked, sweetened fruit. A bit nutty bitterness. Warm chamomile tea. Ne track leather. The second sip makes it more mineral. But never lose that ripe, fat sweetie. Slightly floral with roasted aromas. Also in the mouth, a taste experience. : Love:
    • Finish
Long and fat. Sweet honey clogs the entire mouth. Now come the herbs again. The oak flavor is now more noticeable. The nutty, comes through better now. Everything was fine tuned and brought to the point. Just crazy!

Nose: In the beginning, elderflower comes first, followed by barley and yeast as well as caramel, vanilla and honey. Cereals, milk, quark, yoghurt, straw, old shoebox, but also slightly fruity hints of grapefruit and lime. Delicate green and only spicy.
Taste: Creamy tingling mouthfeel with first dull herbal notes, cardboard, old bales of straw as well as caramel and honey. Then leather notes of old seating, coarse sea salt and spicy pepper flavors. Delicately sour-fresh with elderberry, sour cherry and peppermint.
Finish: Long - sour-fruity with the notes of the taste. Wood is added - harsh and fresh. Only then do the sweet notes develop, supported by waxy honey. A flattened herbal structure of nettle, tarragon and chervil remains on the tongue.
    91 points (nose: 90 / taste: 91 / finish: 91)

Oily (OBF), vanilla, cotton candy, floral notes, honey, heather (which reminds me of the Highland Park 25) raisins, pineapple, ripe sweet fruit, subtle oak, an absolute delight!
