I'm surprised with how well the spirit and peat have harmonized. It's not like some peated whiskies that are masked by the peat influence. A word of caution though. This is one peated whisky that will leave you with it's peat influence trailing on your tongue and in your nose for hours afterwards.
Highland peat (similar to Talisker), vanilla, white fruits, dried tropical fruits, orange peels, and cotton candy.
Candied orange peels and peat, lilies/narcissus flowers, and honey.
Roasted tea (tieguanyin) and concentrated dried fruits with a bit of oak tannins.
