Palate: The fruits continue with an added sugariness. They are joined by some woody notes, much like putting the peach pit or pear stem or seed in your mouth as well. Some malty notes as well. But there is a surprising and unfortunate burst of menthol at the end.
Finish: Luckily the menthol subsides and the fruits come back, as well as the young wood.
Overall: This is very nice and leaves a good impression on the finish. Well balanced between the fruit and oak. Both are there, but neither dominate. The only downside is the unfortunate menthol burst at the end of the palate.
