SMWS tasting notes:With a nose of juicy charred oak, coffee, milk chocolate, treacle tart and banana split, this certainly got the panellists excited. The sweetness continued with salted caramel, toffee, orange muscat dessert wine and chewy soft mints with an intense tropical fruitiness of pineapple, passion fruit and mango. Fine tannins arrived in the form of green tea with lemon and aniseed to provide a fabulous backbone. Becoming even sweeter with water to reveal bourbon biscuits, cherry chocolate liqueur, white chocolate mice, edible flowers and honey on burnt toast with a cool hint of mint on the finish.
DRINKING TIP: Throw the cork away once opened, as it will not be required again.
