Ask your doctor or pharmacist see you at the next cold;)
    • Nose
like soft fruitcorn with oat smell
      freshly cut ribwort plantain
      hay dust
Herbs and grasses that are left to dry but are still moist
Sud from the self-collected herbal tea of my grandmother
I would never have come to whisky
    • Taste
      slightly schnapsig in the beginning
      but not burning
I would say all the many grasses eat the sheep and then retire
      you can taste good
the whole in front of a dusty background
I feel like I'm just drinking healthy
the first herbal tea with alcohol
    • Finish
it remains the memory of healthy herbs
      long and not so bad

No comparison to the very pleasing, sweetish normal Floki. This one really has a very special character. The nose is still getting used to, the rest has something. A small bonus for the originality and the incorporation of a local feature. I like the normal one better.
    • Nose
Self-willed, very young, new make-like fruitiness is on the nose, sweet and slightly buffed. Definitely something like smoke, but discreet. I would say something like silage cereal as a main note and some burnt grass. Fits yes. Well, definitely something else.
    • Taste
In the mouth the special smoke is clearer, peppery, also young, but very spicy, aromatic. Much better than the nose.
    • Finish
Grassy, slightly smoky, bitter, burnt, light fruit notes. Some ashes.

I mean come on...I don't do scores, but people giving this 68 or 75? Get real.... This has nothing to do with Whisky of even of what can become whisky in the future. I know the difference between a promising new make spirit and rubbish. No cask will clear out the hardcore farming sensations this spirit is carrying. I've tasted very first run new make spirit when still being in the process of finding the right adjustments. Even that tasted better. Why bottling this?It leaves me wondering. What is this 'distillery' thinking? They are even stating 'sheep dung' proudly on the packaging. Is this just a playful, insulting, weird result of what we can call 'Icelandic humor', or a serious try to put a quality product on the market? If it's the second option i think it's better they stop calling themselves a distillery and start a second life as drain cleaner product.

€50-€60 a bottle?? uhhhhh What the.....
    • Nose
Hmmzzz..Where to start. The word whisky is not stated on the bottle. This is with a reason, it's way to young to use this term. And boy can you smell that...The nose gives very rough grain/malt, a dry rotten smell and, as stated on the bottle, sheep dung...in other words, sheep shit...
    • Taste
Well it doesn't get better, that's for sure. It's like drinking liquid grain. something like dutch sheep cheese. Like eating malted barley that's not yet been through the mill yet, but then like a thousand times more disgusting. And of course, fertilizer, dung or whatever you like to call it. I've never done it before but I've really got the feeling that i now know what it's like to have a mouth full of poo
    • Finish
Please...no more!! It's getting more and more disgusting. the mouth is leaving a very dry bitter taste. The finish is very long but that's all but positive...Even after brushing my teeth i still feel disgusted.

He is crazy. Tastes completely different and really not Scottish. But I did not think it was bad. Sample empty.
    • Nose
      So yellow gold

First comes fresh sourdough. A fine, extraordinary smoky note follows. He smells completely different but not uninteresting. Pears and mirabelle brandy. Some caraway and solvent. Very young and fresh. A rose-like scent lies behind everything.
With some time in the glass tart garden herbs come through more clearly.
    • Taste
Full herbal intake. Then immediately sharper spice. For me grad is more in the oriental direction. Plum brandy from a wooden barrel. Walnut and again herbs. The alcohol brings life to the shack and pushes neatly. Braised plastic.
    • Finish
Stays surprisingly long. Walnut and bitter herbs. A spicy honey note remains at the end.

I think everybody has it. Either you have a stomach and intestinal flu, or you drank something about your thirst. Vomiting. This is where Floki starts. None of this is necessary to have exactly the taste of vomiting on the tongue. Drink Floki! Unfortunately, it is only halfhearted. If the taste on the tongue meets exactly the model, the viscosity remains under all sow. Too fluent. Here you can certainly expect for € 60 more. I like Iceland, but that's really disgusting.

This is not the Springbank farming cow dung (lovely sweet smoked malt), this is a more cranky style of smoked malt. But after all the whisky is not as bad as it may sound.Concerning price/performance ratio: 6/10
    • Nose
Herbal, some grass and of course dung (sheep, cow, whatever), not bad but quite strange for a whisky.
    • Taste
Again some herbal notes with some fresh grass and some hay, again some dung, a bit spicy.
    • Finish
      Medium. Herbs and dung oak.

Barreled plum brandy with strong brake gum and "rural" components. Only for whisky lovers who love the challenge, suitable.
