- In fact, ordinary Grain whiskey, and notably lacking saturation, paid attention to details and made it delicate and very soft so that everyone liked it, but Grain always dominates and clogs all the shades, it would probably be tastier if the fortress was higher.
Very soft, delicate, green gooseberries, currants, herbal liquor type Becherovka Original.
Simple, alcoholic, sweet-grained, vanilla, almost not sweet, bitter-grassy syrup.
Long, hot, warming, grassy and pleasant.
- Compass Box Hedonism WID: 88986
Abv. 43%, many re-charred bourbon barrels, blended grain whiskey
Nose: very, very restrained nose, vanilla pudding with highlighted cream, cereal husks, with a little heat, baked apple with cinnamon, thick custard
Taste: wow even more vanilla pudding and cream over apple pie, not particularly complex, but damn tasty, typical Grain taste without being able to define it clearly
Departure: milk rolls, vanilla and the bitterness of barrels that were a little bit over it, but I like him.
Conclusion: I did not think so young Grain can be so delicious, but wow I had a lot of fun with him. I would have liked to have 3% more and you have to stand on a lot of vanilla and Grain and you should not have drunk anything before and have not really eaten aromatic food. If you can deal with all these mistakes, then you can not go wrong here
- It somehow reminds me somehow of a Dutch egg liquor called Advocaat (creamy egg, demerara sugar, vanilla and Jenever)
