- As if you're drinking burned sugar
- This doesn’t knock my socks off, but I enjoy it well enough. It was nice as a drink for the evening and I didn’t feel like I was waiting to be done with it. I’d be less impressed if it were more expensive, but at its price point it does a good job though there are better options right around that point.
Light and crisp. Citrus, smoke, and medicine.
Peppery Laphroaig at first, kind of like a gentler but more punchy Talisker. There’s malt, some sweetness, qualities similar to the nose but smokier, the citrus isn’t quite there. Fruity notes were brought out when smoking Irish Flake tobacco alongside it.
Pretty long, peat, smoke, burnt wood.
