- This is one of those where you pour a glass and it stinks the room out but in a good way. Enjoyed what there was but it could have had a bit more to it.
- This was a sample courtesy of Peatbogger.
Smoked kippers, toasted brown bread, pine forest after rain and some smoked salmon pate.
There is a softness to it and there it almost has a strong cheese taste like Stilton. There is some liquorice root. This is straight up smokiness, nothing medicinal about it.
A short to medium finish with sulphur and gammon.
- The liquid inside struggles to live up to the description and the box design.
- Hard to figure out where this single originates from.
Sweet and briny peat smoke up front. Cured ham.
A little caramel, some yellow fruits and a dollop of citrus.
Initially the peat hits the right spot, but it fades all too quick. Little depth to it.
Feels a bit thin as it weirs off in a soft fruity direction, with some fudge and toffee in the back.
Rather short of medium. Some ashy sweet and dry smoke and light spice.
