Beautiful malt from the bourbon barrel. Especially this moderate sharpness makes it even more interesting and goes well with the sweet bourbon cask notes.
    • Nose
Flowerhoney. Pleasant sweetness. Sugar beets. Then canned mandarins. Lychee. Kiwi. Vanilla. Again and again comes some lemon and sprite. Coconut. In addition a nice spice of the oak. A little polish. Also some moss is coming.
    • Taste
Pretty much sweetness combined with some sharpness. Herbal honey. Nashi pear. Yellow gooseberry. Orange. Glazed ginger. But now comes the spice again. Tree bark. It gets pepperier and nuttier. Drying.
    • Finish
The pepper and ginger remain a bit. Salted liquorice. Pear dish. Some marzipan.

Served at the first own tasting and completely undervalued in the heat of the battle. Now at home on the sofa, he shows a wonderful complexity and his full potential.
    • Nose
Sugar sweet and juicy oranges, the Lowland typical grassiness is there, but is very set and restrained, including some rich whitish vanilla, wild strawberries, meadow herbs
    • Taste
At first vanilla sweet, then a spicy power comes on, very creamy, orange peel, pleasant oak spice, also here after a while, the impression of strawberries, Strawberry
    • Finish
Wonderfully warming, pleasant oak, all fused together in a great way, getting slightly dry, only very light and therefore perfectly fitting bitterness
