    Color: dark copper
    - good port finish and
a representative of the "15 year finish series"
    - delicious to drink
    - I personally like the sherry and Madeira finish better
    • Nose
a lot of sweetness, plums, very soft impression
    • Taste
first soft start, then clear development and enhancement of taste, pleasant port taste (but bitter, dry), slight bitterness remains
    • Finish
short to medium-length dry finish and finish

  2. Totoro scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

A port finish that feels almost like sherry: nutty and savory, with plenty of "old" and dark aromas. Well worth a try.
    • Nose
Hugely savory: lovage and soup stock. Herbal honey and cherry cough drops. Thyme. Noses even a bit older than 15 years, I'd say. Decidedly sweet but not overly fruity. Dark, chewy caramel with a salty tang.
    • Taste
Juicy and winey attack, syrupy mouthfeel. Clings to the teeth and gums like glue. Rich and sweet. Berry fruits and honey on a herbal background. Drops off after the mid-palate into gingery heat and spiky tannins, which is a shame. You could also say that the end reveals the actual age.
    • Finish
A bit abrupt, with some zingy alcohol and herbal spiciness lingering the longest. Would've like a more measured wood influence at this point.

  4. ColdAesthetics scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

Not quite my kind of port, too bitter, too dry, but not so bad quality.
    • Nose
Cinnamon, lots of port, coconut and vanilla, medium oak, peach juicy
    • Taste
Intense, dark and spicy fruits, some ginger, raisins and very bitter oak, peach only removed, some gingerbread
    • Finish
      Medium long, intense bitter, warm

  5. Andytka3 scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Mute and shy nature. Let it breath to open up the light ginger and
savoury notes, follow by dusting powder fragrant. Pepper pungent and

    Palate:- Full flavours and
vibrant on the palate. Deliciously matured in a well seasoned barrel.
Firm and rich. Tannin and chewy sweet red grape skins.

Finish:- Smooth and entertaining. Rich sweetness balance with liquor infuse spices. Warming and excellent digestive.
