I may have expected a little bit more from an 18YO, but at €60-70 it is good value.
Sour and citric.
Dried spice and some herbs.
Sherry is present, with red fruits.
The alc is not agressive, but the wood notes make it kind of raw and unrefined.
Nice rich and rounded body.
Good texture, almost velvety on arrival.
Starts of soft, then has some spice building up.
Orange chocolate. Chocolate covered raisins.
Quite tight, dense and compact.
Nice bitter chocolate notes.
A dry sweetness.
Stretching towards long.
