One of the few that I would call "for me" as a bad buy.
Since I miss the experience on the palate and the finish.
Only good smell is just not enough!

Yes ok, the nose is pleasing but unfortunately promises too much.
Malty custard without excitement. Toffee, gentle sweetness.
    • Taste

Very short performance ... then he is gone again.
Where are the barrels. Worse, what barrels?
I do not think that's bad for dinner.
Ahaa .... several sips then he wakes up. Hola.
    • Finish

There is not really a departure. Because he is suddenly gone during the tasting. He is already in the middle of the finish when swallowing. INDEPENDENTLY a disappointment.

Mild whisky to drink well. Unfortunately, not very complex. For fans of mild whiskys. Price / Leiszungsverhältnis is good for a 15-year-old.

Good whisky, very mild and good drinkable, unfortunately not very complex
    • Nose
Bourbon aroma clearly present, with red fruits, a full sweetness and vanilla and citrus notes
    • Taste
Very mild whisky, cereal note makes the beginning, then goes over in fruit, a trace sourness tastes
    • Finish
Short finish with fruit and some oak

    • Nose
Dark, dry fruits. Dates and plum compote. Heavy wood and intense sweetness. Baked apple and vanilla. The sweetness increases and after a while he reminds me of apple rings. Slight spiciness.
    • Taste
intense woody taste, tannins. 15 years are noticeable. Slightly peppery. The malt becomes oily and viscous. Great mouthfeel.
    • Finish
medium. Espresso with sweet nuances. Drying. Chewing tobacco.

Sweet standard. With that one can certainly inspire well newcomers.
    • Nose
Typical Speyside character, apple, vanilla, light vanilla, cold apple strudel with shot, caramel, but behind it is a very exciting tropical mango note
    • Taste
Light, watery, then creamy, vanilla, light oak, the mango comes back
    • Finish
The mango dominates with a nice but very light oak spice at the end, no short but very light finish
