A very engaging dark sherry malt.
Enormous sherry notes and oak cargo.
The nose is highly complex but should be enjoyed with caution here and there the alcohol stings.
Somewhat unsettled for me personally.
I lack sweetness.
On the tongue, the mixture of the heaviest oak and alcohol is impregnable in places, dilution helps me personally.
A very "serious" whisky and a very high quality barrel. In terms of taste, however, not quite my case.
* Addendum * The bottle has oxidized openly for 1 year and it does it very well, much more balanced than freshly opened.
Fantastic nose, heavy thick sherry, very complex and complex, plum, figs, raisins, dates, deep dark and heavy, sugar beet syrup, old dusty cupboard, polish
The viscosity is very viscous like syrup.
Is getting bigger in the mouth and the oak spreads enormously and squeezes. After a while in the mouth there is a tropical note that I don't like so much.
A departure that I can not fault, precise and very oak heavy. I like it.
