Whisky Reviews for Tobermory 1996 AC
5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 85.77 points
- Fresh and maritime nose, mineral like on the beach. plus algae, sea salt and some iodine. Creamy and creamy on the palate, lush, tart, sweet, of lightly burnt caramel, then dark chocolate and sea salt. The finish is harmonious and long-lasting with soft, dry smoke and salt.
- After some time in the glas this Tobermory opens up really well. The nose and palate are very rich and pleasant. Tobacco, leather, salt and a hint of pepper. It has all you are looking for in a bourbon cask matured Tobermoy. In my opinion the overall WB rating is way to low for a malt of that quality. Available for under 110€ in 08/2020.
- Slightly sprightly - and unfortunately bitter on the finish
- whisky for alcohol lovers, or for stronger ...
