A U-shaped whisky... starts relatively good dips in the middle and finishes relatively good again. Great whisky if you consider the price.
    • Nose
      92 92
Really meaty sherry as in beef & potato stew. Below that is honey, various berries, ripe red apples, fruit cake, and smoked nuts. Quite rich and complex.
    • Taste
      87 87
A big dose of oak... both in terms of spiciness and tannins. The sherry is less evident here, and more on baked apples and cinnamon. Slight sourness and a tad astringent, but saved by its creaminess.
    • Finish
      90 90
Fairly long, berries, chocolate, and coffee.

A very nice Glenturret of 35, in line with other traffic jams Glenturret of the same age. A real pleasure, with a complex nose and a nice finish. Only the mouth may look a bit below.
    • Nose
A warm nose (in its olfactory texture) but not alcoholic for a penny. At first, it is very pastry and fruity, a real fruit cake (candied cherries ...). With time a nice evolution on vanilla sugar and notes of olives. (Olives cake). After a long aeration we are on the precious wood then the orange and the apricot.
    • Taste
A perfect balance and a beautiful creaminess at first. We are on fruity notes (apricots in particular) first then comes the woody, vanilla. Unfortunately a slight dryness appears at the end of the mouth accompanied by light spices.
    • Finish
Very nice length on the woody vegetation and vanilla milk chocolate. A very classic finish but rather tasty.

Nose: Thick with stewed fruits and brown sugar as well as hints of cedar and sticking plasters.
Palate: Mouth coating and spicy with cinnamon cakes and dried apricot.
    Finish: Long with honeyed fruit.
