Conclusion: 87/100 points - "not a typical Arran". With this old Arran you get a very barrel-stressed whisky with beautiful fruits, honey and herbs. With a few drops of water you might think, the Arran gets a slightly smoky note in the nose, with the mouth it is much rounder, sweeter and fruity. He also loses the dominant Eichengrundton in the finish. With me he gets with water 87 points and without 85 points.

The forest honey dominates strongly, paired with everything the herbal meadow has to offer. Some glue subtle in the background. Pickled apricots and a little vanilla pudding. Caramel and toffee complete the very sweet nose with light wood notes.
A very strong, slightly alcoholic onset. Immediately comes the apricot with forest honey and many herbs. Not as sweet as in the nose.
long, herbaceous finish with a lot of oak, some licorice and a big pinch of pepper.
