Whisky Reviews for Peated Highland 2007 CWC

- Great drink, beautiful pink color. Pretty heavy in the peat, also the part came very well forward. ideal drink when the weather seems to be less.
Slightly musty, fermented fruit, cherry, lemon, pine needles, grass, some wood, smoke is even weaker than with the AM005
Honey, herb candy, cherry, lemon, cocoa powder, pepper, minimal ash
- sweet and peat, always a good combination.
- This is quite easily
drinkable, even treacherous at 50% abv. It's peaty with a great influence of port. Still young and still a bit of love or hate. I love it and at this price a steal
Nice color with this pink twist and not a shy one! Immediately a cloud of
smoke with burned paper followed by roasted fruit. Lot's
of blackberries, cassis fruit or jam and some liquorice. Salty sweets and
crackers with poppyseed. Roasted almonds and other nuts.
and then some smoked strawberries. A dash of lemon with cake. Plums and dates. Then there's something metallic in the background. Salt and
sirop. Ashy peat
More sour fruit like
grapefruit and dried fruit.
