Whisky Reviews for Springbank House & Tree

- Restrained nose at first, with walnuts, rancio (mainly mushroom) and herbs eventually giving way to some smoke and honey. The fruits, mocha and toffee come into play on a waxy palate, and build into a long and satisfying finish.
- Apple, apricots, stewed fruits, yellow fruits, tropical fruits and its just a nas, superb
- The soap in the mouth spoils a little everything.
Nose mainly on camphor fruit.
Pineapple, peach syrup, goji berry.
In the mouth it's a little soft.
Light soap. Soupline.
Chalk, yellow and white fruit.
Final on the flowers, violet, pink, white flower.
- Classic old Springbank with a great fruitiness, little sea salt, minerals - not too sweet though - fantastic!
Fresh orange peel, essential oils, cooked fruits, apricots, spices, cloves, pepper, hints of vanilla and honey, whiffs of minerals and stones, sea breeze, notes of sherry wood, black tea, whiffs of smoke - really good!
Oily, creamy, sirupy, fruity, good sweetness, more cooked fruits, cooked oranges, mashed apples, plums, fine sherry wood, hints of tobacco, smoked cigars - great!
Long, more punchy, spicy, ginger, fruity, hints of grapefruits, not drying - very good!
