Tasted this one blind. Was convinced this was an ex-bourbon release. There was a slightest hint of raisins in the taste, but 'threw it away' as I was sure this was a an ex-bourbon scotch. Thought it was highlands Close to speyside(not Coastal), slightly younger and higher abv. Nice releasee indeed! Cheers
Red Apples. Orange marmelade. A tad dirty. Wax. Raspberries. Peaches. Green leaves. Sweetness. Wet wool. Grassy. A bit chemical.
Mouthcoating & oily. Honeyed. Oranges & grapes. Blue berries. Warm spices. Herbs. Plums and peaches. Hints of raisins?
Jammy and quite long. Still honeyed. Not as juicy, a bit dry. Bitterbess lingers. A bit earthly and in fact a tad ashy in The very end.
