Surprisingly soft. At first, the phenolic smoke dominates. Greasy notes. BBQ. Salty sea air. Then the PX finish shows. Cherries. Oranges. Honey. Shortbread. In the background a refreshing menthol note.
Sweet start with honey and vanilla. Becoming spicier. Pepper. Ginger. Fruity notes. The smoke is well integrated.
Long. Spicy and sweet. Honey. Vanilla. In the background the greasy smoke shows again. BBQ. Dry finish with a lot of oak.
- Very soft, slightly sweet nose with little smoke. Taste much spicier than the nose. Complex aromas, a little sweetness and a good deal of smoke. Stay spicy on the tongue for a while. With water, the taste unfolds properly. Less spicy, a clear sweet with a pleasant smoke. With water a really good malt.
