Pretty tough start. The alcohol jumps one out of the glass. In addition, one notices the red wine barrel, but unfortunately also the youth. Pretty one-dimensional in the nose. A little soap is there too. With water, the malt drifts into a musty touch, which I unfortunately do not like so much here.
Here, the alcohol is quite well involved and builds up slowly. But then it gets brute. I hardly taste anything else.
Much more harmonious with water. The mildew from the nose is gone and the red wine comes back.
In the finish is already tidy for eight years woody. Unfortunately, it is quite short.
With Wass the departure becomes more interesting. It comes dry fruits and dates.
