Nose: surprisingly pleasant and complex despite its high abv. Sherry, raisins, chocolate (the usual...), perfume, mango, a hint of tobacco,  black pepper.

Taste: heavy on the mango and raisins, again surprisingly light and pleasant, some tobacco. Not a typical "sherry monster", it's way more complex and floral.

Finish: medium to long, light sherry. Fruity.

Nose: dry Oloroso notes, raisin bun, again very sweet with honey and caramel, a touch of vanilla, a little wet cardboard (so a slight muffle note), subtle nut and oak flavors, the alcohol is noticeable but not disturbing

Taste: creamy firm Strukrur - wonderful to chew around. Full off with walnut ice cream and dry sherry, finish is a bit short but damn intense and delicious. Almost like a sprinkled Oloroso sherry, very dry and sweet
Here, especially the nose and the finish could fully convince. In the mouth it can be nice to chew even if the alcohol bothers a bit but this then carries with swallowing a whole flavor cargo of Oloroso Sherry with it. Looks older and has something for sherry fans. Am therefore currently at 86 pts for this tomato.

Old-School Sherrymalt. Not the mouth-watering whisky, but quite tasty.
    • Nose
slightly oak, some vanilla, some alcohol, some strawberries, and also a general, rather fresh, sourish fruit note. The oak will be more present in the end. A bit more fruity with water, a touch of sulfur.
    • Taste
Strong, again a bit thinner, but quite a stimulating mixture of toffee, coffee, oak bitterness, and a nice fresh-fruity sherry note. With water, the oak is a little more present.
    • Finish
a lot of bitter oak, a bit of alcohol, a little bit of menthol, plus a few nice sweeter sherry notes. With water a bit more oak bitterness.
