The color (light white wine), suggests little active barrels and therefore a lot Brennereicharakter.
After pouring the full broadside citrus fruits (lemon and lime) and hay. Mown grass that has been lying on the meadow for two weeks, some freshly de-escaped vanilla.
Breathing does not really bring much more flavor. Only a scent like that of Angostura Bitter peels off the citrus after a few minutes.
Overall, a nose that is quite nice, but certainly not remembered.
Citrus fruit, hay, very little vanilla, spicy oak, and after about 20 seconds in the mouth there is nothing left. The viscosity reveals that it is not water, but taste? Very, very flat.
Unfortunately, taste comes here again. In the mouth remains a bitter, metallic feeling. And that unfortunately stays longer.
Tasty is different, this Aultmore would have rather deterred me from the whisky. The best thing about this Aultmore is the quality and beautifully designed glass bottle, as hard as that sounds. Is for me as deeply in the course as the old law 10yo
