Finish is delightful though.
Thoroughly enjoyable dram
Stewed fruits, its apples and peaches soaking and getting ready for some dessert making. Obvious aromas of dry cinnamon sticks followed up by whole peaches, namely the skins.
With time there are some buttered toast notes with a selection of homemade jams open and ready.
Very fruity on the palate, here its red apples with autumn fruits, plenty of berries red and black. Even with the age it's still spirit forward, no slowing down even after 29years. The berries and autumn fruits are turning tart. Oak and spice is holding strong.
Black currant jam, sticky and sweet with some cinnamon and the faintest hint of oak.
