  1. dRambo scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

For me, a masterpiece - no Ahung what have tipped in there, but that's the finest material - if I may believe the noble donor of my ~ 10cl - the bottle was € 35 - crazy
    • Nose
      91 91
fruity wine blend - very intense - rather freaky, ripe to overripe - very exotic and delicious sweet sour - very lively, deep, no alcoholic stinging perceptible, nothing stands out - in the background it looks more like Lediag
    • Taste
      89 89
exotic, elegant, fruity, motor oil, bitter lemon, mint, bay leaf, olive oil - when you chew it the misty fruit notes of the nose very clearly - and you can chew it for a long time - despite the high alcohol content stings and burns nothing here - it works round and coherent - blind I would at least tap on 20yo
    • Finish
      88 88
Ginger, citrus, pineapple, dried mango - tart aromas, very green, tree sap, bark - long

  2. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

He goes well, with Wassr he falls a little bit.
Yes, what's in there, very Longrow-heavy, or it could actually be a peaty Glen Scotia. But I think it will mostly stay in the family. Nice, if quite young whiskey with a lot of power. That's fun.
    • Nose
Sweet, fruity, shower sticks, orange marmalade, some engine oil, a dirty edge, sulfur, also some peat.
    • Taste
typical Longrownoten, somehow oily, tarry, maritime, a little badly young sometimes, in addition to the springbank gummy bears and orange notes.
    • Finish
Very long, smoky, peaty, tart, somehow maritime, salty and sweet. Some eucalyptus still.
