Lots of depth, very tasty, nicely balanced at high ABV, no sharpness or blow-to-the-mouth. Nose sublime, aftertaste long and pleasant.

    • Nose
slightly musty, honey, caramel, frosting, cereals, sweet pastries, herbs, herb drops, grasses
    • Taste
Herbal candy, herbal honey, nuts, nougat, some fresh wood, alcohol puts a lot of pressure on the tongue

Water pushes the musty and herbs back in the nose, there is also a light citrus-fruit note. In the taste, the aggressive alcohol note goes down and there is a lot of caramel and strong spices. The wood is also significantly reinforced

Not as complex as the 25-year-old Jack Wiebers, otherwise I had feared bad, no, still full broadside Bunna character, chocolate, burned, musty - even less complex is delicious.
    • Nose
Praline, nougat, old leather, woodruff, rotting wood, alcohol I find only slightly cooling, with water: less intense, freshly sawn wood, less mold
    • Taste
Sweet, but too hot with water, with nougat water, less mildew than in the nose, acacia honey, later leather, cough syrup
    • Finish
Short, coffee, dark chocolate, a rest nougat remains

nice yellow fruit in the nose. But the alcohol is a bit too dominant for me. That does not change with time either. Rugged and edgy, it therefore comes in taste and finish, with a serving of delicious vanilla. After the dissolution I was amazed at the points in the evil base. From me there is less, because I find him for the key data but then again to interchangeable, although he gets from one of my favorite distilleries. But when it comes to young bourbon cask bottlings, I'm probably messed up by a Glen Grant (WID: 72621) forever.
