Some water has sweetened the nose up and brought out orange and wintergreen, along with sesame, honeycomb, and malt.
Palate: There's some real ABV heat here. Oily, oak-forward, and astringent. A good dose of black pepper. Tart berries. Toasted sesame seeds. Caramel. Herbs. I'm gonna add some water to this one.
There's a real waxy, woody, honeycomb feel to this now. It's gotten slightly floral, and the spice has been knocked down a touch. I'd call that an improvement.
Finish: On the short side. Lingering oak and spice. A fair bit of sweet wine. Apple tartness, and banana. Nut brittle. Bitter orange peel. Jasmine tea. Mouthwatering minerality.
