fruité, mais pas dans un style délicat. Plutôt musclé, un peu rustre ! Fruits
! Finale nuancée avec quelques fruits
Very vivid. Lots of "good" wood. An obviously modern profile, with these slightly artificial but so tantalizing flavours. Fruit drops and all kind of jams. Haribo crocodiles (mostly yellows, and a handful of red ones). Arlequin sweets, and a hint of peach liquor. Tinned pineapple. You know you're being cheated, but it smells so nice!
Seems to lack of power at first sip. Softer than the nose, it starts on the gentleness of a candied apple. Then, our crocodiles and tinned pineapple are back, along with an exotic touch. A drop of mango juice in my pineapple syrup? Very fluid palate. It flows straight to your stomach. You can go for big sips: this one won't hurt you.
Long and fruity, with more grapefruit skin bitterness now. It was time to bottle this one!
A thirst quenching whisky. On the field of fairly priced fruity malts, I bet that it won't be long before these 1996/97 Glentauchers overcome the 1992 Glen Keith released a couple of years ago.
