Sea air. Perfumy. Slightly sharp.
Starts with a clean , grassy sweetness,then an long. lively series of small explosions. peppery.
Body Firm,cracker-like, malt background. Underlying iron. Savoury.
- Aroma: fruity, pleasant, light citrus aromas, tangerines, oranges, light fruits, malt;
Taste: strong, long, slightly sweet, wood, malty, mild, berry, spicy;
Conclusion: I tasted great, too expensive for the performance! An islander without smoke!
- "One of the best ongoing bottlings from this great distillery. This is
more lightly peated, allowing its fresh, coastal maritime character to
shine through. This is a real gem."
- The clover honey on the nose is quite over-powering. The taste is more subtley aromatic; balance isn`t great though - still, it`s pleasant if not rather sweet.
- This is a ok whisky, no more no less. Almost a little boring..
Vanilla, toffee and sweet fruits.
Vanilla, honey and oak.
Medium long finish.
