  1. Tomek scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

Aroma: moonshine, raisins, honey, caramel, rotting strawberries, slightly peaty
Taste: watered compote, caramel, cherries, quince, oriental spices. chocolate
    Finish: cardboard-fruity, sweet
    Grade: 3

  2. Mannix65 scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

a young inconsequential malt that lacks depth
    • Nose
Despite nearly drinking strength quite spicy and alcoholic, behind it dark chocolate and raisins, honey
    • Taste
Chocolate, fermented grape juice, slightly sulphurous sherry, very sweet
    • Finish
sweet, short, behind the back wood comes through despite the small age already wood

  4. Lorion scored this whisky 77 points Expert Senior

No miss notes, round and harmonious, but not so interesting or unique. Just a round, delicious guy! 77 points.
    • Nose
Sherry fruit compote. Pears, plums, blackberries, red apple and oak! The sherry's own aroma is only occasionally tender. The wonderful blend of wood and fruit together with sweetness is harmonious and round. After a bit of warmth and time, herbs are in the nose. The oak always comes back to the foreground.
    • Taste
Seasoning in the first place, then the sugared fruits come. An intense powerful mouthfeel with lots of fruit and sweetness! The oak provides spice, no bitterness.
    • Finish
Medium long, spicy and rather dry. It leaves an apple-cinnamon seasoning back.

The musty nose is reminiscent of slightly fermented fruits.
This impression then continues in the mouth, musty, young, copper, sprittig - bahhh. A real exit, all other bottling are good to very good. This bottling is however under all sow!

  6. Mannheimer scored this whisky 85 points Expert Junior

The young age is actually only slightly felt in the taste, but for his young age very good and balanced, fruit compote and restrained sherry.
Successful, fits wonderfully in summer evenings at tropical temperatures!
    • Nose
Light sherry is worthy of its name: summer fruits! Apricots, peaches, nectarines and clementines. Oak discreetly in the background. Very light yet very fragrant and fruity, sherry not intrusive. After opening you will get a hint of wood smoke.
    • Taste
Again very fruity with all the fruits mentioned above plus juicy pears. Fruit basket in the glass, nice! In the aftermath he lets his age betray something, you can feel a slight youth, which is partially covered in sherry. In the end you have spices and gray pepper.
    • Finish
Surprisingly spicy and peppery, summer fruits, long and dry.

He was disappointing for me as well. Over time, he got a little better. But he was not worth his money

  8. Dramned! scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

The hitherto weakest in the Seasons series, can not afford the very best of its predecessor Bunnahabhain in the least! For me a disappointment.

The nose is better than the taste
    • Nose
Alcohol is well integrated, milk coffee, caramel, honey, is heavy in the glass, sherry, association of overripe banana
    • Taste
strong onset, light sweetness that disappears quickly, then chilli / pepper, light dryness and spice
    • Finish
      relatively short

  11. Waternish scored this whisky 72 points Expert Senior

  13. Goethe scored this whisky 81 points Connoisseur

Don't know what kind of first fill sherry butt this is, but nevertheless quite a weak cask concerning cask influence. The alcohol is quite dominant. Somehow quite unidimensional.

    Concerning price/performance ratio: 7/10
    • Nose
Fruits, some sherry, honey, caramel, spirit.
    • Taste
More sherry than the nose promises. Spicy oak.
    • Finish
      Medium. Roasted almonds.

  14. Noface83 scored this whisky 84 points Specialist

Not the big sherry bomb that some might expect. A malty note and fruit flavors from the Brennereicharakter are still clearly present in the nose. The fruits are more towards slightly sour berries. Add to that a light caramel note, some almonds and a nice honey sweetness. There is no trace of oak left.

In the mouth, the nose continues seamlessly. There is surprisingly little new added. Correctly sweet as honey-malted malt. Only in the finish then comes some oak to light. The sweetness is mitigated by a slight bitterness. But this bitterness is not just oak - even something "youth" plays along with it. The finish is clear and strong, but leaves little impression and disappears quite quickly.

The alcohol is well integrated for the age but you can still tell the drop clearly the young age.

A really good whisky for a summer evening with friends for a relaxed drink but a lot of depth does not have to offer.

  15. Segens scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

Well for its money (60€) a good dram but I would not buy another bottle of it! So far by far the worst of these Single Cask Season whiskies.
    • Nose
Alcohol is not perfectly implemented but on a special summer night it is definitely a good whisky to drink with friends. I have a fruity influence like lemons then almonds and also honey. Nevertheless you also realize that the maturity has not taken place too long.
    • Taste
A lot of honey, some oranges and also almonds! Very nice to drink and very smooth!
    • Finish
The finish is a bit young and metallic but quite long

  16. Kalle Grabowski scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

You get what the bottle label expect.
    • Nose
As a first thought forest honey and the corresponding fruits such as berries come to my mind. He also can not hide his small age.
    • Taste
First a decent portion of malt or conspicuously much. Then follows a light sweetness and fruitiness.
    • Finish
Does not sound like that for too long. Alcohol well integrated for the age.
