Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich Peat
2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 82.42 points
- Bruichladdich Peat (46%). Consumed July 2018. Aroma apple pie, light smoke, some gloss paint, touch of strawberry later on. Taste huge peat, balance isn't great, woody smoked and salty. Very peaty, but a bit young. Okay stuff. (3.3/79)
- OK whisky, nothing more nothing less.
Doubt I will buy a bottle after having a sample.
The statement "one of the peatiest Islay whiskies" can be argued. Not extreme in any way.
Peat is soft and sweet.
Fruity with citrus notes.
Vanilla and some yellow fruits.
About medium lenght.
On the sweet side.
