"This rare offering is from the distillery built near the port of Buckie, on the Moray Firth, to replace an earlier one at the port of Cullen. After a long maturation of 24 years in first fill sherry butt, the nose contains a variety of farmyard smells and given time the caramel and treacle comes through. The taste is warm, melted brown sugar with cream. With water the nosing is of the sherry, nutmeg and lemon rind. The reduced taste is of a sugar topped crème Brule. This dram is definitely for, but not exclusively for the sherry lovers."
