Another whiskey from the 'light' era (see https://www.whiskybase.com/whisky/84116/04-year-old). This one is more nuttier though than the Crow Light. Produced by Calvert Distilling Company based in Baltimore MD and Louisville KY. Calvert Distillery complex in Louisville and Baltimore Pure Rye distillery used to belong to Seagram's which closed the distillery in 1983 respectively 1989.

Fruity nose of raspberry and plum, with some big wood polish notes, Some coconut and dried bananas as well. Toasted chestnuts at the background.

More sharp woodiness now. Gingerbread, toffee and custard powder. Maple syrup. Some chocolate. Honey-clover. At the end grapefruit bitterness.

Medium long. Spices of nutmeg and a black pepper. Cinnamon. A bit gingery too.
