Aufregende Fruchtnase. Viel Vanille und Zuckerstange. Vielleicht sogar ein Tacken zu süß. Ist das wirklich ein Highland Park? Enorm süß...

Am Gaumen dann aber, neben der süßen Fruchtfracht ein paar herzhafte HP-Noten. Würzig...maritim...süß. Stellen wir uns mal kandierte Sardinen vor...

Klasse HP - für mich eher untypisch aber "very drinkable"!

SMWS Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep olive oil

Flavour profile: Oily & coastal

Imagine sitting around a beach campfire on a cool windy evening making pizzas. We had quite a selection of them on the go; seafood with chopped clams, shrimp and squid, Hawaiian with ham and pineapple and Greek with caramelized onions, olives and feta. While we were waiting for them to be ready we dipped crusty walnut bread into olive oil and tucked into scrummy rosemary and thyme sausage pie. Diluted, we got even hungrier, cola ham with maple & mustard glaze on the nose whilst on the palate sweet peat smoked black pepper and sea salt pork cracklings.
