middle-aged Bunnahabhain from a sherry cask. A very nice dram, but not much
excitement in there. Would have loved to taste this at cask strength, it’s
shame they bottled it at 46%. This bottle cost me €115,-, which is way too much
for this dram.
is slightly sulfury, not overwhelming though. It’s a quite typical middle-aged
Bunnahabhain nose with cherry, a gently sea breeze and some nuts. Sherry
influences are very present. Nuts (almonds and pecan) and some dried fruits.
Missing some body in the nose.
timid. More nuts and dried fruits, mostly raisins. Warming, but thin.
ends drier, with figs and raisins. Not very long.
