N: slightly briny, that typical Bunnahabhain musty smell, refill sherry, much fruityer instead of the spicyness you'll expect, there's some vanilla, tablet, leather but it has a gentle nose and doesn't rock you, some oaky notes but not fresh wood (reduced: more layers of tropical fruit and apples, the first estery notes pop up and goes in some what herbal aromas.
P: soft, round, slightly peat smoke/briny flavor and then it becomes warm, slightly and somewhat fruity (reduced: much softer, peardrops (yes lovely sweet estery notes), oaky and dry sherry.
F: warming, long, woodspices (ground ginger) some water will give the finish more of its fruityness.
C: not your average Bunnahabhain, the profile (musty, spicy, briny) is there but apart from that is different on many aspects, however it's a fine dram.
