That could have been a really, really good whisky for me, just like I like him. Unfortunately, this artificially sweet note bothers me after the finish in the mouth but remains too much. Too bad.
    • Nose
Immediately, the typical fruit flavors of the Irish rise in the nose. In addition, then a delicious honey sweetness. The whole thing seems old and set. No trace of alcohol or glue.
    • Taste
The start is neat for the 47%. Another fruit compote. Then cotton candy, or, rather artificial sweetness. But it is pleasant. Here you notice the alcohol then a little bit. In the second sip comes a bit of bitterness with it.
    • Finish
The finish is incredibly mild, but still very long. At the end comes again a pleasant oak freight. In the mouth, it remains slightly unpleasantly artificially sweet back.

Already very delicious, exotic fruity whisky. I like so exotic or yellow fruits in whisk (e) y. Here, however, they seem a bit artificial and put on.
You can drink it well. No question. For the price, however, that is out of the question for me.
    • Nose
Oha. He is fruity. Dosenlitschi. Nashi pear. Passion fruit. This somewhat artificial sweetness, which I often have with Irish, is also here. However, she is not so annoying here, because she looks somehow elegant. After the intense fruit comes some tree juice and rose water.
    • Taste
Again, the exotic fruits of the nose. Maybe they are something "yellow" here. Fanta. Mandarin is added. However, the fruits are also somewhat artificial and less intense. Add some furniture polish and shoe polish to it. From the oak is not much to feel.
      Relatively mild.
    • Finish
The fruits are ending. Pear dish. In the finish now but some seasoning the oak. Orange abrasion.

Blind tasting Advent calendar Brühler Whiskyhaus 2018 no. 6

Bright gold. Riesling. Wide, thick legs on the glass.

Immediately after pouring spreads an insanely fruity-sweet, intense aroma. Bright fruits. Exotic fruits. Pineapple, papaya, mango. Thoughts a very old bourbon barrel. A little vanilla. Sweet from the fair. Caramel, fudge, cotton candy. Sweet, juicy overripe pears after some time in the air.

In the taste very similar aromas, as in the nose. Very cute (I like that). Cotton candy, exotic fruits. Slight kick in the finish. Honey. A touch of citrus fruit.
Very, very good - but also easy drinking. For me personally very great flavors, but not insanely complex. Nevertheless, a highlight.
