7 years and full of surprises! These warehouse drams are not cheap and but deliver what you pay for and the size of 200ml is quite cute isn’t it ;-)
    • Nose
      Decent fruits, peat, honey

A bit missing the intensity but makes me curious also

Some oak as well as some pepper and some toffee With milkchocolate
    • Taste
A bit of caramel a bit of oranges. A bit of smoke and a bit of everything

Very interesting as it has a lot of facets.
    • Finish
Great finish where I know have plum Marmelade and some sticky honey

  2. Owidram scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

    light red color like grenadine

Nose with lots of red fruits, fresh strawberries, neat. Alcohol is perfectly integrated.

Mouth is light, fresh, with red fruits, again. No wood sensation at all.

Light Body. But long fruity finish anyway. like an infusion.

I don't like wine casks or exceptionally. And this is exception. Because it's so easy, no tannins in there, no wood. Just fresh fruit.

Very easy to drink, very good.

I think the wine cask is pretty prominent but in a positive way, I like this much better than the Bunnahabhain Eirigh Na Greine that is also from wine casks but different - this is more like the wine casks with Kavalan which are very good
    • Nose
Intense, fruity, raisins, nutty, little sea breeze - pretty captivating
    • Taste
Very punchy, oily, woody, nutty, dried fruits, but also citrusy

Water recommended: More fruity, more aromas and more "wineish"
    • Finish
      Long and warm

Good to drink without any junk, but for me no high-flyer.
    • Nose
Very fruity, almost as if you had poured fruit juice, also the classic Bunna muff, very light, the alcohol is barely noticeable, red fruit, cherry and currant, just like red wine, initially always a sweet onset
    • Taste
more intense in the mouth, again sweet and fruity, yes cherry, but also woody with spice, and here too this slightly furry, which one likes at a Bunnahabhain so
    • Finish
the fruity cherry stays with its sweetness, pleasantly fading away
