Flavour profile: Sweet, fruity & mellow
A calm nose greeted the Panel with plenty of sweet notes
like American-style pancakes with maple syrup, all-butter almond croissant
filled with apricot cream, black bullets (those old fashioned mint flavoured
sweets) and liquorice torpedoes. On the palate; comforting like a puff pastry
caramel apple turnover with the sweetness of a nougat and chocolate semifreddo.
Water added a sweet fruitiness, like a walk through a banana plantation in warm
trade winds while the flavours were now those of a Peach Melba with sweet
lightly whipped cream and a Virgin Peach Margarita, a cocktail using lime juice
and agave syrup.
