- ColdAesthetics has said it all better than I can. Wonderful apples and pears contrasted with mainland style peat, like Ardmore. Mouthfilling with a wonderful finish. Surprisingly excellent given I don't usually like this particular peat flavor.
- Blind tasting.
peaches, melon, smoke (peat?), feijoas, pine resin, buttered popcorn
medium; metallic, old battery
- I like it very well, but I also like rare blends like peat and exotic fruits, if the nose were a bit clearer it would have reached 90.
Very interesting, evokes clearly smoky impressions like from a charred barrel, otherwise clear bourbon cask, acidic citrus, green apple, some chalk, nettle melon, pebbles, very light and gentle, has some Japanese, pear, pleasant mixture that you will not find often
Banana, pineapple, citrus, clearly peated at the back but still nice in the frame and a great contrast to the exotic, I like, is almost like another Teaninich from the vintage we had in parallel, just with Peat behind, exciting, vanilla and acid are included, hint of white pepper
Acid, light smoke as from charcoal, citrus peel, pineapple, malt and beautiful oak now too, long
