    • Nose
      89 89
Clear smoke at first, light fruit and sweetness. Yellow fruits,
Shortbread biscuits with a hint of vanilla, now also a trace of candied lemon.
      Everything harmoniously interwoven.
After a while, spicy notes and warm wood notes join in.
Aromatic but also complex and pleasantly demanding.
    • Taste
      90 90
Slightly fiery and oily, aromatic with smoke, warm wood notes, coffee and spices. Complex.
When sipping, the wood and coffee notes gain expression. Slightly sweet, soft and pleasant. Perfectly integrated alcohol, from my point of view does not need water and I was afraid to spoil it by adding water ...
    • Finish
      89 89
bitter-sweet with wood and coffee aromas, spices, slightly drying. Smoky, slightly tart, later slightly sweet with a delicate oak note and still with a little smoke that turns into ash after a while.
      Long and sweet ending.

ColdAesthetics has said it all better than I can. Wonderful apples and pears contrasted with mainland style peat, like Ardmore. Mouthfilling with a wonderful finish. Surprisingly excellent given I don't usually like this particular peat flavor.

    Blind tasting.

peaches, melon, smoke (peat?), feijoas, pine resin, buttered popcorn
    • Taste

      pepper, oil?
    • Finish
      80 80
      medium; metallic, old battery

I like it very much, but I also like rare mixes like peat and exotic fruits, if the nose had been a little clearer it would have reached 90.
    • Nose
Very interesting, evokes clearly smoky impressions like from a charred barrel, otherwise clear bourbon cask with it, acidic citrus, green apple, some chalk, net melon, pebbles, very light and gentle, has something Japanese, pear, pleasant mixture that you don't often find
    • Taste
Banana, pineapple, citrus, clearly peated towards the back but still nice in the frame and a great contrast to the exotic, I like it a lot, is almost exactly like another Teaninich from the same year, only with peat behind it, exciting, vanilla and acidity are there, a hint of white pepper
    • Finish
Acid, light smoke like charcoal, citrus peel, pineapple, malt and beautiful oak now too, long
