Glenburgie 20 Year Old Whisky; so far little success for this brand with me. Sweet and meaningless is my average perception. Smell of pineapple, very sweet tobacco and spices. The taste is also spicy, the ricolas are flying around your ears. Scented, cardamom? Something chemical ,. as if someone in their home lab tried to manufacture the aromas of marzipan. Mwah. Glenburgie can be found in blends a lot. I understand that.

Amazing whisky: a little old man who is not his age. No great complexity: here everything is a matter of wood ... It makes me oddly think of a Arran 10 years ... Only its low price does not make me regret its acquisition.
    • Nose
Wood, wood still wood ... Very closed nose that requires time or water to open. The oak crushes everything and only a few fugasse scents of apples manage to escape. A little discreet leather.
    • Taste
As dry as one can imagine from a whisky aged in Hogshead, the mouth is consistent with the nose: the barrel dominates, oak, vanilla and finish of mouth on the cereal. Disappointment. Much less greedy than his younger brother of 19 years.
    • Finish
Short on a pleasant bitterness that fades in favor of a return of the cereal.
