Nose: Slightly maritime, "typical" Lagavulin notes, floor wax, blazing campfire, tobacco, cigar smoke and smoked bacon with some peat. There are also slightly fruity, tropical aromas, led by salty lemons and limes. Oranges, vanilla and fine garden herbs complete the palette.
Taste: Sweet honey, orange juice, vanilla, spicy and slightly dry, dried herbs, peat and tobacco smoke. Always fruity.
Finish: Medium length with salty peaty malt, dry smoke and fruity vanilla notes. Tasty flavors of cocoa and dark chocolate, even hints of raisins, give the finish that certain something!
